EPIC revisited

All the attention Web 2.0 ... The Machine is Us/ing Us is getting reminded me of EPIC.  I first heard of EPIC on Terry Storch's blog, when he was still an active blogger.  I don't remember exactly when that was, but I'm guessing 2004.

If you haven't seen EPIC, don't even think about it until you have a full 8 minutes to devote to it.  Crank up your sound a bit, and take it in.  Here's the link to the "real" EPIC on lightover.com's site.  I tried that link a couple of days ago and it was down, so here's an alternate link if the first one doesn't work.

BTW, if you happen to know anything about lightover, and what inspired this creation, please share.

Update 2/12/2007: Sam Jessup of The Bridge in Fresno, very kindly pointed me to a Wikipedia article on EPIC 2014.  That article even includes a link to an updated version, Epic 2015.
